DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern closed out the non-conference portion of its 2019 schedule with a 3-0 loss against Tarleton State on Tuesday afternoon in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.

The Savage Storm have three Great American Conference contests remaining on the schedule, with its next contest set for 7 p.m. Nov. 7 against rival East Central in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.

In Tuesday's contest,
Aleksandra Rodic led the Storm with 10 kills, while
McKenzie Turkoly was next in line with eight and
Malaysia Burns chipped in six.

Arabella Bouchard finished the night with 27 assists while running the offense and added five digs and two service aces.

Caitlin Cosby continued to close the gap as she aims to climb the GAC career digs list, finishing with 11 on the match and is now just 36 digs away from second place on the conference's all-time list.

Caroline Griffith added a pair of blocks to lead the Storm defense at the net.

Southeastern dropped set one 25-11, but closed that gap in the second set, but fell behind 2-0 after falling 25-16.

SE jumped ahead early in the third set and then used an 8-1 run to take a 14-11 lead.

However, the Texans would come back with an 8-1 run of their own to regain the lead.

The Storm would close the gap to 19-18 on three-straight points, but TSU would take six of the final eight points to win the final set 25-20 and take the match 3-0.
