DURANT, Okla. – After splitting a pair of hard-fought weekend matches in Great American Conference play, Southeastern will take a step out of the league and head south to take on Texas Woman's on Oct. 19 at 6 p.m. in Denton, Texas.

The Savage Storm moved to 7-10 overall on the year and 4-5 in GAC play with a weekend split, and will be looking to get back in the win column against a Patriot squad that is 7-13 on the season and 3-7 in Lone Star Conference play.

SE has dropped four of the last five outings against TWU dating back to the 2013 season, but did pick up its one win in that span in Denton, Texas.

The Storm offense continues to be paced by
Skylor Lewis who is putting up 3.03 kills per set, but has seen the duo of
Caroline Griffith and
Mya Afflerbach come on strong recently, as Griffith posted 2.78 kills per set last week while Afflerbach added 2.67.

The trio has been set up by
Ruthie Forson who has handed out 8.91 assists per set on the season while adding 1.52 kills per set and is tied for the team lead with 18 service aces. She also contributes defensively where she has 2.42 digs per set and 16 total blocks.

Grace Shehadeh is posting 5.23 digs per set to lead the defense, while Lewis is posting 3.06 and three others are averaging more than two per set.

Griffith and Afflerbach have also led the way at the net on defense with each posting 34 total blocks.

TWU comes into the contest led by Elizabeth Ugbaja and Trixie Oche who are each posting 1.76 kills per set, while Bailey Wozniak has led the team's setter with 5.89 assists per set.

Defensively, Sydney Stroh has posted a team-high 4.10 digs per set with Oche turning in 52 total blocks to led the way at the net.
