Storm Welcome DBU For Non-Conference Matchup

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern volleyball will return home on Oct. 5 looking to get back in the win column as it steps out of conference play to host Dallas Baptist at 7 p.m. at Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium.
 
The Savage Storm come into Tuesday's contest with a 5-7 record overall on the year, looking to rebound after back-to-back losses last week.
 
DBU comes to town with a 6-1 mark on the year and rising a four-match winning streak, all in Lone Star Conference play.
 
SE is paced offensively by Skylor Lewis who is fourth in the GAC in kills per set at 3.24 kps, while five others are averaging more than a kill per set on the season.
 
One of those is Ruthie Forson who has been a multiple threat from the setter position where she has dished out 8.69 assists per set while adding 1.53 kps and 13 service aces on offense while chipping in 2.44 digs per set and eight total blocks on defense.
 
Grace Shehadeh leads that defensive effort with 5.11 digs per set which ranks third in the conference, while Caroline Griffith patrols the net with 25 blocks on the year.
 
The Patriots are led on offense by Halee Van Poppel who is putting up 4.78 kills per set while Aryn Walton leads the tea's setters with 5.52 assists per set.
 
On defense, Leah Palensky leads the back row efforts with 5.30 digs per set, while Alyssa Parks guards the net with 24 blocks on the year.
