DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern returns to the court to close out a three-match home stand when it hosts Southwestern Oklahoma State at 7 p.m. on March 23 in Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium.

Tuesday's home contest will NOT be open to the general public, and instead will be in accordance with the Great American Conference's policy regarding attendance which allows for a limited guest list for student-athletes and full time coaches. This policy allows a set number of four guests per athlete or coach and is limited to the home team only.

Guests on the pass list will be required to show an ID as well as wear a mask and practice social distancing while in attendance.

The Savage Storm come into the contest at 0-5 on the season but challenged sixth-ranked Oklahoma Baptist last time out in a 3-1 loss.

SE put together its best offensive performance of the season in that matchup, finishing with 63 kills and 59 assists for the match, and out-killing OBU by seven for the contest.

That was triggered by
Ruthie Forson who turned in her first 50 assists match of her career, finishing with exactly 50 assists while adding seven kills and 14 digs.

Aleksandra Rodic led the way turning those assists into kills, finishing with 15 on the night to lead a trio of players with double-figure kill counts.
Â
Jocelyn Grewing turned in a season-best 12 kills, while
Caroline Griffith added 10.Â
Jessie Steele just missed double-digits with eight, while Forson chipped in seven.
Â
Defensively,
Grace Shehadeh turned in a career-best 35 digs to lead all players across the back row, while Rodic was next in line with 20. Forson's 14 would crack double-figures, while
McKenzie Turkoly added eight.

Forson has lifted her assists per set average to a league-best 10.39 aps, while Rodic has benefitted from that rise and is sixth in the GAC in kills at 3.2 per set.

Shehadeh has pushed her digs per set total to 6.44 which is good for second in the conference.

SWOSU comes to town with a 4-4 record on the season and a 4-3 mark in GAC play.

They are paced by Chezney Nielsen who is posting 3.00 kills per set while Allie Hoang is dishing out 10.24 assists per set.

Defensively, Sophia DeSantiago is averaging 4.28 digs per set, while Emma Cohalla has turned in 22 total blocks.
