DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern men's tennis seniors
Juan Scoppetta and
George Botha each played a part in picking up a 7-0 sweep on Senior Day to open conference play over Oklahoma Baptist on Thursday afternoon at the Southeastern tennis Complex.

The Savage Storm have now won two-straight and lifted their record to 6-6 overall on the year.

SE picked up the doubles point to open the match as the 25
th-ranked pair of Scoppetta and
Manuel Pilotto picked up a 7-5 win at the two doubles position.

Thabo Ncube and
Guilherme Dos Santos ensured the point by cruising to a 6-0 win at number three.

No. 34 Scoppetta carried the momentum into singles play and picked up a senior day win, pushing the lead to 2-0 with a 6-2, 6-5 win at the top spot in the lineup.

Botha followed suit and earned a senior day victory of his own after taking the number four position by a 6-2, 7-6.

Ninth-ranked Pilotto added a 6-2, 7-5 win at number three as the Storm continued to roll.

Ncube added a 6-0, 6-1 win at number five, while
Marcus Del Rosario followed with a 6-3, 6-1 win at number six.

Dos Santos would finish out the singles sweep with a 6-2, 3-6, 6-1 win at number two, making the final 7-0.
