DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern is set to close out the home portion of its 2021 season when it hosts rival East Central on March 30 at 7 p.m. for Senior Night at Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium

The Savage Storm will be recognizing four seniors on Tuesday, with
Caroline Griffith,
Paige Hawkins,
Aleksandra Rodic, and
Grace Shehadeh all being honored.

Tuesday's home contest will NOT be open to the general public, and instead will be in accordance with the Great American Conference's policy regarding attendance which allows for a limited guest list for student-athletes and full time coaches. This policy allows a set number of four guests per athlete or coach and is limited to the home team only.

Guests on the pass list will be required to show an ID as well as wear a mask and practice social distancing while in attendance.

SE comes into the contest at 1-7 on the season and looking to finish the season strong against ECU in a home match Tuesday night before closing out the regular season on Friday night in Ada, Okla., at 7 p.m.

The Storm offense is led by a trio of players, two of them seniors, who are averaging two-plus kills per set, with Rodic leading that group at 2.75 kps.Â
Skylor Lewis is next in line with 2.74 per set, while Griffith is averaging 2.24 per set.

Ruthie Forson has handled distributing for those hitters, dishing out 9.68 assists per set which ranks third in the GAC, while also chipping in 1.50 kills per set offensively and 2.79 digs per set on defense.

Defensively, Shehadeh has paced Southeastern along the back row to the tune of 6.29 digs per set which ranks second in the conference, while Lewis and Rodic are averaging over three digs per set each.

Across the net, Griffith leads the defensive effort with 19.0 total blocks on the season.

The Tigers come to town with a record of 3-5 on the year, dropping a 3-0 match at Oklahoma Baptist last trip out.

ECU is led offensively by Thalianette Garcia who is averaging 3.43 kills per set while Sydney Dungen is handing out 7.90 assists per set.

Aloni Jordan leads the Tiger defense at the net with 29 total blocks on the year, while Alejandra Delgado paces the back row with 4.33 digs per set.
