DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will close out the 2021 spring regular season on April 2 when it squares off once more against rival East Central in Ada, Okla., at 7 p.m.

The Savage Storm head into the season finale with a 1-8 record on the season and will be looking to avenge a heartbreaking 3-2 loss to the Tigers on Tuesday.

In that outing, stormed out to a 2-0 lead to open the match against rival East Central on Tuesday night, but saw its momentum slip away as the tigers would take the final three sets.

Caroline Griffith paced the Storm on offense with 13 kills, while
Ruthie Forson added 11.

Forson was busy as she handed out 32 assists in addition to her 11 kills, while also chipping in two service ace, as well as six digs and a block on defense.

Grace Shehadeh led the way across the back row defense with 18 digs, while
McKenzie Turkoly was right behind with 17.

SE had a big night blocking, posting 12.0 team blocks, with
Jocelyn Grewing posting six, including a pair of solo blocks. Griffith was right behind with five, including one solo.

Lewis is pacing the Storm offensively for the season with 2.56 kills per set while Rodic is right on her heels with 2.55 kps.

Forson's assists per set average for the year is at 9.18, while she has also added 1.61 kps and 2.55 dps.

Shehadeh is leading the defense with 5.88 digs per set, while Griffith is patrolling the net at 24 total blocks on the season.

ECU enters the match at 4-5 on the season and is led by Thalianette Garcia who is posting 3.14 kills per set, while Sydney Dungen hands out a team-best 8.00 assists per set.

Defensively, Alejandra Delgado's 4.57 digs per set lead the way for the Tigers, while Aloni Jordan leads the net defense with 33 total blocks.
