DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern is set to open play in the Great American Conference Volleyball Tournament on April 6 when it travels to Northwestern Oklahoma State for a first-round matchup at 7 p.m. in Alva, Okla.

The Savage Storm closed out the regular season with a 3-2 win over East Central to finish the regular season with a 2-8 record.

Against the Tigers last match out,
Aleksandra Rodic and
Jessie Steele combined for 32 kills to lead the Southeastern attack, with Rodic turning in a match-high 17 kills while Steele was right behind with a season-best 15 on the match.

Malaysia Burns was next in line with seven kills, while
Caroline Griffith added six.

Ruthie Forson dished out 41 assists to lead the way, while adding three kills and a service ace on offense, while chipping in two blocks and nine digs on defense.

Grace Shehadeh led the back row with 16 digs, while
Micah Stiggers added 14.
Crislynn Autry and Rodic also reached double-figures with 11 each.

SE held a 9.0-to-3.0 edge as a team in blocks, while Griffith led the Storm with seven blocks for the match.

Rodic paces the team overall on the season with 2.66 kills per west, while
Skylor Lewis is next up with 2.53 and
Caroline Griffith is at 2.0-3 kps.

Forson is averaging 9.03 assists per set to trigger the offense, while adding 1.53 kps and 2.39 digs per set.

Shehadeh leads the defense with 5.63 digs per set across the back row while Griffith has a team-best 31 total blocks.

The Rangers enter the matchup at 8-5 overall on the year and 5-5 in GAC play.

Kaydee Honeycutt leads the club offensively with 3.94 kills per set while Avery Osburg is handing out 9.25 assists per set.
