Volleyball Set to Host Rival ECU Tuesday

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern is set to jump back into intrastate play in a big way when it hosts rival East Central on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. in Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium.
 
The Savage Storm enter the contest with a 3-19 record on the season and a 1-10 mark in Great American conference play following a pair of heartbreaking five-set losses to end last week.
 
D'Nari Mills leads SE on offense with 3.68 kills per set which ranks third in the GAC, while eight other players are averaging at least one kill per set on the season, with Lexi Davila and Jessica Hardin leading that group with 1.95 and 1.90 kps, respectively.
 
McKenzie Turkoly and Ruthie Forson have combined to handle the setting duties with Turkoly putting up 5.31 assists per set while Forson is at 4.38 per set.
 
Defensively, Patience Lewis leads the way in digs with 3.15 digs per set, while Amaiya Constantino is next in line with 2.91, followed by Mills at 2.85 and Peyton Kriegel with 2.77 per set.
 
At the net, Michaera Moffett leads the way with 31 total blocks, while Avynn La Rose has added 23.
 
The Tigers come to town with a 10-14 record on the season and a 6-5 mark in league play.
 
ECU is led offensively by Emma Strickland who is averaging 3.75 kills per set while Leah Lawson is handing out 7.49 assists per set.
 
Defensively, the Tigers are paced on the back row by Alejandra Delgado's 5.35 digs per set while Aloni Jordan has posted 90 total blocks.
