SE Volleyball Set for Arkansas Road Swing

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern volleyball will make its only trip to Arkansas when it crosses over to take on Henderson State at 6 p.m. on Oct. 6 in Arkadelphia, Ark., before closing out the road swing with 4 p.m. matchup against Ouachita Baptist on Oct. 7, also in Arkadelphia.
 
The Savage Storm enter the matchup with a 2-16 record overall on the season and an 0-7 mark in Great American Conference play.
 
The SE offense is paced by D'Nari Mills who ranks among the top in the conference in kills per set with 3.52 kps, while seven others are averaging at least one kill per set.
 
McKenzie Turkoly and Ruthie Forson have split the setting duties with Tu8rkoly posting 4.97 assists per set while Forson is right behind with 4.43 per set.
 
On defense, Amaya Constantino leads the back row with 3.05 digs per set, while Patience Lewis is adding 2.98, with Mills and Peyton Kriegel each averaging 2.6 digs per set or better.
 
At the net, Michera Moffett leads the effort with 26 total blocks, while Avynn La Rose and Maci Morrison have 15 apiece.
 
HSU enters Thursday's matchup with a 7-12 record on the season and a 1-6 mark in league play, and are led offensively by Christiane Uzoh who is averaging 2.83 kills per set while Madison Hatt is handing out 5.18 assists per set.
 
On defense, the Reddies are led by Trinity Sharp's 4.10 digs per set, with Kaitlyn Sykes posting a team-best 50 total blocks.
 
OBU heads into the weekend with a 10-9 record on the season and a 3-4 mark in GAC play and are led on offense by Emily Adams with 2.90 kills per set while Courtney Hanson is dishing out 10.19 assists per set.
 
The Tigers are led defensively by Lexie Castillow's 5.58 digs per set, with Adams putting up a team-leading 45 total blocks.
