DURANT, Okla. – Following their efforts over the 2022 season, Southeastern's Marquis Gray and Maalik Hall have each picked up First Team D2CCA All-Super Region 3 honors as announced on Thursday.

Gray, a wide receiver from Tyler, Texas, picks up his first all-region award, while Hall, a linebacker from Athens, Texas, is a first team selection for the second-straight year.

Gray, a junior, has been not only the top receiver in the GAC but also among the best in the nation as he has racked up 1,279 yards receiving, setting a new Southeastern single season record, while also breaking the school record for touchdowns in a season with 17.

He posted back-to-back three touchdown outings this season and is riding an active 12-game streak with a receiving touchdown.

He turned in six games with more than 100 yards receiving, including his career-high 201-yard effort, while putting up multiple touchdowns in four games this season.

Hall, a senior, continued to be one of the most disruptive defensive players in the GAC this season, finishing eighth in the conference in tackles overall with 76 over 10 games, but led the league with eight sacks on the season and tacked on 11.5 tackles for loss.

His eight sacks are the most in a season in SE's time in Division II, and on the season, he posted multi-sack outings three times, including a season-best three against East Central.

He has a trio of 10-plus tackle games, with a career-high 17 stops against Southern Nazarene.

Southeastern closed out its regular season with a 6-5 record and is slated to take on No. 24 Emporia State at noon on Dec. 3 in the Live United Bowl in Texarkana, Ark.
