Storm Hit the Road to Square Off With UCO

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will make a return trip to Edmond, Okla., looking to complete a non-conference season-sweep Central Oklahoma when the teams square off at 5 p.m. on April 5.
 
The Savage Storm are coming off a series win over Oklahoma Baptist which lifted the overall record to 24-10 on the season.
 
SE has won four-straight non-conference matchups, dating back to a 10-3 win over UCO back on March 2.
 
In that matchup Reid Rice homered twice and posted five RBI to lead the Storm, while Coby Langford picked up the win in relief.
 
Rice remains the national leader in home runs with 17, while he is also hitting .368 with 43 RBI.
 
Cameron French is right behind with a .349 average while adding 22 RBI.
 
Seth Morrow is hitting .345 and is second on the team in RBI with 31, while Richard Ware had six homers and 27 RBI.
 
Jordan Compton has a pair of midweek starts, including last week, and has a 1-0 record, while Logan Teske, Langford, Connor Priest, and Hayden Alexander have all started or picked up wins in midweek games.
 
Jackson Sioson has also tacked on a midweek victory, and leads the team in saves with seven.
 
UCO comes into the matchup at 19-13 on the season and have won three of its last four, but is 7-7 in home games this season.
 
Landon Wood leads the team with a .348 average, while Garrett Takamatsu provides the power with 13 home runs and 38 RBI.
 
Lawson Isaacs leads the pitching staff with four wins, while Tucker Elliott has struck out 56 and Kyler Patterson has recorded seven saves.
