Zorgdrager Earns GAC Academic Honor

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – Southeastern's Trent Zorgdrager was named a Great American Conference Distinguished Scholar Athlete on the eve of the GAC Championship Tournament, following his performance in the classroom as well as the course.
 
Zorgdrager, a junior from Stratford, Ontario, Canada, has played in six tournament this season and carries an average score of 75.00 across his 15 rounds.
 
He turned in his best round of the season with a 69 at the NSU Golf Classic and turned in his best individual finish of third place at the Ranger Invitational.
 
Zorgdrager and the Storm will open play at the GAC Championship on Sunday with the event progressing through Tuesday.
