Storm Finish 18th at the Skip Wagnon Invite

EDMOND, Okla. – After three rounds of play at the Skip Wagnon Invitational, Southeastern finished 18th with a combined score of 36-over 876. The Savage Storm rounded out the final day, shooting 13-over 293 as a team.
 
Central Oklahoma put in a strong effort over the two days to win the event at 40-under 800, while Oklahoma Christian claimed second at 33-under 807. The GAC would see two teams finish in the top three, with Harding taking third at 26-under 814 and Arkansas Tech finishing 21-under 819 in fourth.
 
Austin Skierski continued from his round one and two scores with another even-par 70 round to tie for 39th individually. Skierski scatted four birdies across the day, with three coming on the back nine, where he shot 2-under 33. Nicholas Martin moved up three spots on the player leaderboard from day one to tie for 83rd with a 10-over 220. Martin turned in his best round of the event in the third, carding a 2-over 72.
 
Tristun Burnham tied for 76th with a 54-hole score of 8-over 218 after firing a 5-over 75 in round three. Burnham shot 3-over 38 on the front half of the Par 70 course and 2-over 37 on the back half, where he tallied a pair of birdies. Hunter Beasley rounded out the day with a 6-over 76 to finish 18-over 228 in 94th place.
 
Southeastern heads to Andover, Kan., on October 12-13 to compete in the Newman/MIAA Designated at the Terradyne Country Club.
