DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will set out on a considerably shorter road trip over the weekend when it heads to Edmond, Okla., for the UCO-OC Classic Sept. 2-3 in Edmond, Okla.

SE will open on the campus of Oklahoma Christian on Sept. 2, squaring off against the host Eagles at 11 a.m. before taking on St. Mary's at 3:30 p.m.

The Savage Storm will move to Central Oklahoma on Saturday, opening with the host Bronchos at 12:30 p.m. before taking on Emporia State at 4:30 p.m.

Southeastern comes into the weekend with a 1-3 record overall on the season after its season opening trip to Odessa, Texas.

D'Nari Mills paced the Storm offense in the opening weekend to the tune of 2.64 kills per set, while
Jessica Hardin and
Jadyn James each averaged 2.00 kps.

Ruthie Forson and
McKenzie Turkoly split up the setting duties with Forson posting 4.50 assists per set, while Turkoly was at 3.31.

Patience Lewis led the defense across the back row over the first four games with 4.21 digs per set, while Mills added 2.21 dps followed by
Amaya Constantino with 2.00.

Michera Moffett led the way at the net with five total blocks, while Mills added three.

Oklahoma Christian comes into the opener with a 3-1 record that includes a win over Arkansas Tech, and are led by Wendy Cobbah with 2.57 kills per set as well as Brylie Berryman has put up 4.07 digs per set on defense.

St. Mary's opened its season in Canyon, Texas, and finished the weekend 0-4, with two of those losses coming to top-20 ranked teams. The Rattler are led on the year by Lindsey Ogle on offense with 2.31 kps, while Dallasstar Johnson and Sadie Hough have 11 total blocks each.

UCO comes into the weekend with a 5-0 record on the season, most recently with a mid-week victory over East Central, and are led on offense by Sydney Huck's 3.56 kills per set, while Jaedynn Evans is putting up 4.89 digs per set on defense.

ESU come into the weekend with a 1-3 record as well, with its lone win coming against Southern Arkansas, while the offense is led by Shelby Ebert's 2.53 kills per set, with the defense paced by Megan Stretton's 4.73 digs per set.
