DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern was bitten by the error bug on Thursday, as attack errors sidetracked the Savage Storm offense in a 3-0 loss to Oklahoma Baptist in Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium.

The loss drops SE to 1-12 overall on the year and 0-3 in Great American Conference play heading into a Saturday afternoon non-conference matchup against Austin College back in Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium at 2 p.m.

Jessica Hardin and
Jadyn James each turned in eight kills each to lead the Storm offense, while
Michera Moffett posted five and
D'Nari Mills chipped in four.

Ruthie Forson led the setting dup with 14 assists while adding a pair of kills, with
McKenzie Turkoly posting 12 assists with a kill and two digs.

Peyton Kriegel led the SE defense with 14 digs while Mills followed with 11, while Hardin added the only block for the Storm.

SE jumped ahead in set one and led 13-10 before an OBU rally would give the Bison a brief lead before the Storm tied the match at 17-17. OBU would follow with seven of the final 10 points in the set to take the opener 25-20.

Set two saw the Bisons jump out to an early lead and Southeastern was unable to mount a rally, dropping the set 25-11.

The teams traded blows early in the third set, but OBU would break a 7-7 tie with a 12-5 run to go up by seven points, ultimately taking the final set 25-18 to clinch the match.
