D'Nari Mills led the Southeastern offense but was unable to push the Savage Storm past rival East Central on Thursday night in Ada, Okla., falling 3-0.

The loss drops the Savage Storm to 2-14 on the season and 0-5 in Great American Conference play.

Mills finished with a match-high 11 kills to lead the way, while
Avynn La Rose was next in line with six.

McKenzie Turkoly led the setting duo with 15 assists while
Ruthie Forson chipped in 12.

Defensively, Mills led the way with eight digs, while
Peyton Kriegel followed with seven. At the net, La Rose posted three blocks while Forson added two.

SE would take an early lead in set one, but the Tigers would rally and knot the set at 15-15. After three ties, ECU would reel of seven-straight points to end the set at 25-18.

ECU would take an early lead in set two, with the Storm posting a run to close to 19-16. The Tigers would edge away down the stretch with a 6-3 run to take the set 25-19.

In the third set, SE would rally from a five-point deficit to tie the set at 16-16 and again at 17-17, but ECU would use a final 8-1 run to swipe the clinching set 25-18.
