D'Nari Mills led the Southeastern offense with 10 kills, but it was not enough to lift the Savage Storm past a visiting Arkansas Tech squad in a 3-0 loss on Thursday night in Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium.

The loss drops SE to 2-15 overall on the season and 0-6 in Great American Conference play with a short turnaround before hosting Harding at 4 p.m. on Friday afternoon.

Mills put together a 10 kills outing, while
Avynn La Rose was next in line with eight.

McKenzie Turkoly led the way among the setting duo with 14 assists while adding five digs, while
Ruthie Forson chipped in 10 assists while adding three kills.

Peyton Kriegel led the defense with nine digs, while La Rose and
Jadyn James each added two blocks.

The opening set would feature 11 ties and four lead changes, with the last tie coming at 23-23 before ATU took the final two points to win the set 25-23.

Set two was much the same story as it featured 10 ties and five lead changes, except the last tie fell at 13-13 before the Golden Suns would push out to a four-point lead and leave the Storm playing catch up before falling 25-22 in the set.

In the third set, ATU jumped ahead early and SE was never able to recover, falling 25-15 in the set which clinched the final of 3-0.
