Volleyball Set for Three-Match Homestand

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern volleyball is set to return to Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium for three-straight days of action, first facing Henderson State at 6 p.m. on Oct. 12, followed by a 4 p.m. matchup with Ouachita Baptist on Oct. 13 with a non-conference contest with Oklahoma Christian set for 3 p.m. on Oct. 14.
 
The Savage Storm come into the weekend with some momentum after back-to-back road victories which lifted their overall record of 7-10 and improved their Great American Conference record to 3-4.
 
D'Nari Mills continues to lead the GAC and ranks second nationally in kills per set with 5.06 kps, while adding 2.94 digs per set and 25 total blocks on defense.
 
Noelia Rocha is next in line offensively with 2.07 kills per set.
 
Ruthie Forson triggers the offense with 9.06 assists per set which ranks third in the GAC, while she ranks third on the team in kills per set with 1.83 and has recorded a pair of triple-doubles this season.
 
In the back row, Amaya Constantino leads the team in digs per set with 3.30, followed by Mills who averages 2.94 dps and Patience Lewis at 2.60 digs per set.
 
Henderson State will come into Thursday's match with an overall record of 14-6 and 5-2 in conference play.
 
Christiane Uzoh leads the Reddies offense 2.92 kps, while Madison Hatt is handing out a team-high 5.46 assists per set.
 
In the back row, Trinity Sharp leads the team on defense and averages 4.51 digs per set, while Larkin Luke has a team-best 65 total blocks.
 
Ouachita Baptist heads into the weekend with a record of 11-11 and 3-4 in GAC play.
 
Kayla Steinmeyer leads the Tigers on offense with 2.45 kills per set, while Courtney Hanson is dishing out 9.45 assists per set.
 
Avery Jauz leads the Tiger defense with 3.81 digs per set, while Leah Gardner has picked up 54 total blocks.
 
Oklahoma Christian heads into the weekend with a 10-8 record.
 
Giorgia Turri leads the Eagles on offense and averages 3.33 kills per set, with Lauren McClure handing out a team-high 6.53 assists per set.
 
Defensively, Brylie Berryman leads the Eagles with 3.57 digs per set, while Camryn McGough patrols the net with 77 total blocks.
