SE Volleyball Set for ATU, HU Road Swing

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern volleyball goes on the road for the next two games, first squaring off with Arkansas Tech in Russellville, Ark., at 6 p.m. on Oct. 19 before traveling on to Searcy, Ark., to face Harding on Oct. 20 at 4 p.m.
 
The Savage Storm come head into the weekend with an 8-12 record on the year and a 4-5 mark in Great American Conference play and have won three of their last four conference matches.
 
D'Nari Mills remains dominant in kills per set and is ranked third in the nation at 4.95 kills per set.
 
Ruthie Forson continues to power the offense as a dual threat, ranking third in the GAC in assists at 9.12 assists per set, while adding 1.92 kps which ranks third among SE hitters.
 
In the back row, Amaya Constantino leads the team in digs with 3.49 digs per set, followed by Mills at 2.96 dps, and Patience Lewis with 2.60.
 
Arkansas Tech will come into the Thursday matchup with a record of 2-18 and 1-8 in the conference.
 
Savannah Meyer leads the Golden Suns in kills per set and averages 2.45 kps.
 
Jamie Myrick paces ATU in digs per set and averages 3.86.
 
Grier Lauren leads the Golden Suns in blocks per set and averages 0.93.
 
Harding's enters the weekend with an overall record of 13-8 and 8-1 mark in the conference.
 
Skyler McKinnon leads the team in kills with 3.09 kps, while on defense Emma Winiger leads the way with 4.72 digs per set.
