DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern is set to return home and looking to extend its current winning streak when it welcomes Southwestern Oklahoma State to Paul Laird Field for a 2 p.m. kickoff on Saturday, Oct. 21.

The Savage Storm enter the weekend with a 3-4 record overall on the season and in Great American Conference play after putting together back-to-back victories in the last two weeks, downing Southern Nazarene 20-19 a week ago and posting a 22-21 win over Arkansas-Monticello the week prior.

The back-to-back one-point win feat also marks the first time in school history that Southeastern has won back-to-back games by one point each.

The Storm has seen its rushing attack improve in the last two outings, led by
DJ Brown who turned in a season-high 165 yards on 26 carries with a touchdown versus SNU a week ago, bringing his season total to 393 yards on 82 carries with four touchdowns.

Ryan Hirt is next in line with 139 yards on 22 carries with three scores.

A pair of quarterbacks have seen the field over the last two weeks, with Weston Co0naway taking over the starting duties and putting together a 48-of-90 effort passing for 503 yards and four touchdowns.

Kane Donovan found himself thrust into action in the second half last week and on the year has completed 10-of-15 passes for 123 yards.

Southeastern features a trio of receivers with 20-plus catches on the year, with
Hunter Hawthorne leading the group in receptions with 24 and 337 yards with a touchdown.

Marquis Gray leads the team in yardage with 343 yards on 22 grabs with a team-best four touchdowns.

Kaleb Whitley rounds out the trio with 21 catches for 312 yards and a score.

On defense,
Michael Hookfin leads the way with 48 tackles, while
Cameron Tate,
Braeden Winters and
Tyveon Williams each have more than 30 stops on the season.

Kevin Simes has 21 tackles and is second in the league in sacks with 6.5, while
PJ Larry and
Joseph Jones each have a pair of interceptions.

SWOSU comes into the matchup at 0-7 on the year following a 20-13 loss to Oklahoma Baptist at home.
