The win lifts the Savage Storm to 6-10 overall and 2-4 in Great American Conference play heading int Friday afternoon's matchup with Arkansas-Monticello at 4 p.m. in Monticello, Ark.

"Fantastic team win," said head coach Nicole Solum-Mitchell, "Lots of Grit shown from all aspects. We really focused on attacking and executing and I feel that we succeeded in that.
