Men's Tennis Falls in Central Region Tournament

Box Score MARYVILLE, Mo. – Fourth-seeded Southeastern saw its 2023 season come to an end on Saturday afternoon with a 4-1 loss to top-seeded and No. 12-ranked Northwest Missouri State in Maryville, Mo.
 
The loss drops the Savage Storm to 11-10 on the year to end the season.
 
In doubles play, SE struck first as Thabo Ncube and Diego Orduz picked up a 6-2 win over Michael Delebois and Mason Meier at three doubles.
 
However, the Bearcats would answer with a win at number two before the number one position went to a tiebreaker which went NWMSU's way to put Southeastern in a 1-0 hole.
 
The Storm would tie the match with the first singles point as Juan Gonzalez logged a 6-3, 7-5 win at number two singles over Delebois.
 
Unfortunately, SE was unable to build any momentum as the Bearcats would pick up wins at numbers four, five, and six to make the final score 4-1.
