Volleyball Set For Road Matchup vs SWOSU

DURANT, Okla. – Riding high off a big conference victory on Tuesday night, Southeastern volleyball is set to take the court looking to maintain that momentum as it travels to Weatherford, Okla., to face off with Southwestern Oklahoma State at 6 p.m.
 
The Savage Storm come into the matchup at 5-7 n the season overall and 1-1 in Great American Conference play following a 3-1 win over Southern Nazarene on Tuesday night.
 
D'Nari Mills pushed her streak of 20-plus kill matches to six in that win and she continues to rank at the top of the nation in kills, lifting her average to 5.26 kills per set.
 
Noelia Rocha is next in line with 2.39 kills per set, while the offense is triggered by triple-double threat Ruthie Forson who is averaging 9.53 assists per set alongside 1.85 kps and 2.15 digs per set.
 
Amaya Constantino leads the way on the back row defensively with 3.10 digs per set, while Mills is right behind at 3.06 dps.
 
At the net, Sandra Acheampong has a team-high 31 total blocks with Mills next in line at 18.
 
SWOSU comes into the matchup with a 6-3 record overall and a 1-0 mark in GAC play after topping East Central in five sets on Tuesday.
 
Lacy Mott leads the Bulldog offense with 3.87 kills per set while Terez Chavez leads the setting duo with 4.95 assists per set.
 
On defense, Jada Permenter leads the back row with 4.32 digs per set, while Zoey Sparks has collected 50 total blocks.
