WEATHERFORD, Okla. – Southeastern got 17 kills from 
D'Nari Mills to lead the offense but it was not enough to lead the Savage Storm to a comeback in a 3-1 loss at Southwestern Oklahoma State on Thursday night in Weatherford, Okla.
 
The loss drops SE to 5-8 overall on the season and 1-2 in Great American Conference play.
 
Mills turned in match-high 17 kills to pace the offense, while 
Michera Moffett, 
Noelia Rocha, and 
Ruthie Forson each finished with six,
 
Forson would also hand out 28 assists on the night while chipping in seven digs.
 
Amaya Constantino led the back row defense with 18 digs, with Mills adding 13.
 
Moffett would lead the way at the net with three blocks, two solo, while 
Sandra Acheampong added two blocks.
 
SWOSU used a 9-1 run to open the first set and the Storm were unable to recover in a 25-9 loss to fall behind 1-0.
 
SE would keep things closer in set two, knotting the score at 16-16 before the Bulldogs would pull ahead and eventually take the set 25-22.
 
Mills would post five of her kills in the third set and the Storm closed the set on a 6-2 run to take the set 25-18 and close the gap to 2-1.
 
An early SWOSU run in the fourth et would leave SE playing catch up for the set before falling 25-18 in the final set.
