Volleyball Set for Rivalry Matchup vs. ECU

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern is set to return to its home court for a Tuesday night contest with rival East Central at Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium on Sept. 26 at 7 p.m.
 
The Savage Storm head into the matchup with a 5-8 record and a 1-2 conference record following a loss against Southwestern Oklahoma State at Weatherford, Okla.
 
D'Nari Mills is having a phenomenal season and maintains the lead in kills across the nation in the NCAA Division II with 5.19 kps.
 
She is followed by Noelia Rocha who is second in the team in kills with 2.32 kills per set.
 
Ruthie Forson handles the setting duties for the Storm and continues to lead the GAC in assists per set with 9.26.
 
In the back row, Amaya Constantino paces the team in digs with 3.20 digs per set, with Mills right behind at 3.07 and Patience Lewis next in line at 2.76.
 
East Central will come into the match with an overall record of 5-9 and 0-3 in the conference.
 
The Tigers recently fell 3-0 Oklahoma Baptist on Thursday Sept. 21.
 
Emma Strickland leads the team in kills and averages 3.70 kills per set. Followed by Odalys Gonzalez who is second on the team in kills and averages 3.40 kills per set.
 
Julia Kabala leads the Tigers in assists and averages 7.30 assists per set.
 
In the back row, Sydney Roshek leads the team in digs with 3.46 digs per set, while, Gonzalez is second on the team and averages 2.49 digs per set.
