DURANT, Okla. – As the fall seasons come to a close, the winter sports season is upon us. Join Southeastern athletics on Oct. 28 for the winter sports edition of Calm Before the Storm presented by Choctaw Casino and Resorts set for Noon in the Glen D. Johnson Student Union on the campus of Southeastern.

Lunch will be provided, and the event is open to the general public including alumni, fans, corporate partners, and community members.
Those in attendance will hear from featured speakers including men's basketball head coachÂ
Kelly Green, women's basketball head coachÂ
Darin Grover, and women's track and field head coach Dr. Jerome Morgan, along with athletes from each of those sports.

Southeastern Director of Athletics Keith Baxter will also give remarks, while Jay Lindly, sales manager at Mix 96.1 FM and the radio voice of the Storm on the Southeastern Sports Network, will be the emcee for the event.
