DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern football returns home on Saturday, Oct. 5, to celebrate Homecoming by hosting No. 14 Ouachita Baptist in a 2 pm. matchup at Paul Laird Field.

The Savage Storm most recently evened its season record at 2-2 after picking up a 27-21 road win over Northwestern Oklahoma State last Saturday, while the Tigers come into the matchup at 4-0 after a 49-14 win over Arkansas-Monticello the same day.

The defense led the way for Southeastern in its win, with
Michael Hookfin scoring a touchdown on an interception return, while
Braeden Winters picked u Great American Conference and D2Football.com National Defensive Player of the Week honors after racking up 14 tackles, four tackles for loss, and two sacks.

He now ranks third in the league in tackles for the season with 44, while Hookfin's interception was his third of the year and it marked his second-straight outing with a defensive touchdown.

Jonathon Cobb scored a touchdown on the ground while
Victor Taylor hauled in a 44-yard TD pass from
Cergio Perez to account for the offensive work in the win, while
Dylan Cox added a pair of field goals and went 3-for-3 on PAT.

For the season, Perez has hit 44-of-93 passes for 562 yards and a pair of touchdowns, with his top targets being
Kobe Jennings with 10 catches for `79 yards and a score and
Gabe Corona who also has 10 grabs for 167 yards. Taylor is the only receiver with a pair of touchdowns.

On the ground,
DJ Brown has carried the load with 250 yards on 59 carries with a touchdown, while Cobb is next in line with 104 yards on 31 totes.

Ouachita is led by dual-threat quarterback Eli Livington who leads the team in rushing with 332 yards and three scores on 43 carries, while also completing 62.9 percent of his passes for 655 yards and eight touchdowns.

He is joined in the backfield by Kendel Givens who has five rushing TDs and 317 yards on 70 carries.

Connor Flannigan leads the Tiger receiving corps. with 11 catches for 136 yards, while he, Carter McElhaney, and garrison Jackson each have two touchdowns.

Jax Miller paces the defense with 33 tackles on the yar, while Mikey Gonzalez has a team-best nine tackles for loss and five sacks.
