The Savage Storm enter the matchup with a 5-3 record and riding a three-game winning streak after downing Southwestern Oklahoma State 30-15.

The Bisons enter the contest at 7-1 after downing No. 22 Southern Arkansas in a bounce-back win after dropping its first contest of the season a week prior to Ouachita Baptist.

The contest will test the Savage Storm's third-ranked rushing defense against the conference and national leader in rushing in HU.
