Kobe Jennings and
Tyveon Williams highlight a total of 13 players who earned All-Great American conference honors while five others picked up academic recognition as the league released its all-conference teams on Thursday.

Jennings and Williams were second team All-GAC selections, while

Dorian Maple,
Dylan Sebock,
Jordan Hood,
Braeden Winters,
Michael Hookfin,
Jackson Nalley,
Andre Williams, and
D'Teaurean Johnson were each named to the third team.

Asa Robertson earned GAC Elite Scholar Student-Athlete honors, while Brown,
Luke Hohenberger,
Dreylon Rose, and Keith Wright were named to the GAC Academic Honor Roll.

Jennings, a sophomore wide receiver from Quinlan, Texas, led the Savage storm and ranked third in the conference in receiving yards per game with 47.1 per contest, finishing the year with 518 yards on 30 catches with a team-high five touchdowns while ranking near the top of the conference in yards per catch at 17.3.

Williams, a senior safety from Diboll, Texas, finished the year in second on the team in tackles with 62, 30 of them solo, while adding 3.5 tackles for loss, a fumble recovery and four pass breakups.

Brown, a junior running back from Leonard, Texas, finished third in the GAC in rushing yards per game with 71.3 per outing, turning in 784 yards on 175 carries on the season, averaging 4.5 yards per carry and finishing with three rushing touchdowns. He would add 11 catches for 95 yards and a touchdown as well.

Taylor, a sophomore wide receiver from Round Rock, Texas, finished the season second on the team in yards, piling up 391 yards on 15 catches with three touchdowns while averaging an eye-opening 26.1 yards per receptions.

Kennedy, a redshirt-freshman from Kingfisher, Okla., and Maple, a sophomore from Crandall, Texas, anchored an offensive line that plowed the way for 1,845 yards rushing and 14 touchdowns on the ground which ranked fourth in the conference.

Sebock, a sophomore defensive end from Midwest City, Okla., would finish the year with 27 total tackles, and led the Storm with 95 tackles for loss, including a team-best 4.5 sacks. He would also add an interception, two pass breakups, three QB hurries, a blocked kick and a safety.

Hood, a sophomore defensive lineman from Elgin, Texas, posted 36 total stops on the year with 7.5 tackles for loss and a pair of sacks to go with four QB hurries.

Winters, a junior linebacker from Bartlesville, Okla., led the Storm in total tackles despite missing a pair of games, finishing the season with 76 total stops which ranked him fourth in the conference in tackles per game at 8.4. He would add 8.5 tackles for loss on the year and 3.0 sacks to go with a pass breakup and five QB hurries.

Hookfin, a junior cornerback from Spring, Texas, led SE in interceptions with four which ranked fifth in the GAC, and had a pair of defensive touchdowns on the season. He would add 41 total tackles, two for a loss and his nine pass breakups would help him rank second in the GAC in passes defended with 13. He would add three forced fumbles and would recover one.

Nalley, a senior punter from Wylie, Texas, averaged 41.4 yards per punt on the season, punting 64 times with a long of 66 yards. His 24 punts inside the 20 would tie the Southeastern record, while adding 13 punts of 50-plus yards and tacking on a pair of tackles.

Williams, a junior return specialist and receiver from Mansfield, Texas, would return 17 punts on the season, averaging 7.24 yards per return with a long of 30 yards while also adding 12 kickoff returns, averaging 22.0 per return with a season-best of 47 yards.

Johnson, a sophomore linebacker from Denison, Texas, was a do it all player on special teams, posting nine kickoff returns, averaging 17.1 yards per return with a best of 29 yards, while adding 20 total tackles on the year as well as a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

Robertson, a graduate student from Madill, Okla., would finish the season with eight catches for 47 yards.
Â
Hohenberger, a redshirt-freshman quarterback from Paris, Texas, played in six games and threw for 580 yards and five touchdowns while rushing for 193 yards and two more scores.

Rose, a senior tight end from Little Elm, Texas, made eight appearance on the year primarily in special teams action, while Wright, a senior from Longview, Texas, would add 30 tackles and five pass breakups.
