Mills Earns Second Team All-Central Region Honors

DURANT, Okla. – After receiving First Team All-GAC honors earlier this season, D'Nari Mills was named Second Team All-Central Region by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association. 
 
The Cypress, Texas native put in another impressive season for the Savage Storm, finishing with a team-high 469 kills and averaging 4.08 per set. For the second season in a row, Mills ranks inside the Top 10 in kills across Division II and is 23rd in kills per set. The junior outside hitter recorded 27 double-digit kill matches across 29 contests and had six 20-kill contests, including a season-high 25 versus Oklahoma Christian.
 
Additionally, Mills finished second on the team in digs with 394, which saw her record 20 double-doubles on the year. The Cypress Woods High School Product also totaled 46.0 blocks, 44 assists and 15 service aces. Mills helped lead a Southeastern attack that ranked fifth in kills (1475) and eighth in points (1802.5) across the GAC this season. 
 
Mills reached a milestone of 1,000 career kills at the start of the season and ends the year fourth all-time for the Southeastern volleyball program in kills with 1,316. The Cypress, Texas native also ranks third (545) and now sixth (469) in kills for an individual season.
