DURANT, Okla. – For the third-straight week and the fourth time this season Southeastern's
Brennen Burns has earned Great American Conference Player of the Week honors.

Burns, a junior from Bethany, Okla., earned the selection this week following a pair of Savage Storm wins, first over rival East Central and then over Southwestern Oklahoma State.

He put together a lights-out shooting week, hitting 80.0 percent from the field and going 6-of-6 at the free throw line.

Burns would average 15.5 ppg on the week along with 7.0 rebounds per outing and 10.5 assists per contest.

In the team's 82-75 win over ECU, he would collect a double-double with 14 points and 12 assists, while just missing out on a triple-double with nine rebounds.

Two days later he would put up 17 points and added five rebounds and nine assists in an 84-52 win over SWOSU.
