SE Football Ready to Host Homecoming Matchup

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern is set to celebrate 2025 Homecoming when it returns to Paul laird Field at Spend Life Wisely Stadium to host Henderson State at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1.
 
Southeastern fans can listen live via the Southeastern Sports Network on GoSoutheastern.com/SESportsNet or across the largest DII radio network in the area with Jay Lindly and Rob Johnson on the call. Local fans can pick up the game on 96.1 FM, while fans across southeastern Oklahoma and north Texas can pick up the games on 94.7 FM in Valliant, Okla., 97.7 in Ardmore, Okla., 99.5 in Rattan, Okla., 102.1 in Atoka, Okla., and 107.5 in Atoka.
 
The Savage Storm tallied back-to-back wins with a 14-10 victory over Oklahoma Baptist in stormy conditions in Shawnee, Okla., last weekend, moving their overall record to 4-4 on the season.
 
The Reddies come to town after back-to-back losses which included a 17-6 road defeat last time out versus Arkansas Tech which dropped them to 5-3 on the season.
 
SE comes into the contest doing the bulk of its work on the ground, averaging 225.3 yards per game rushing after putting up over 300 yards on the ground in the win over OBU.
 
Levay Duncan paces that group with 532 yards and four touchdowns while averaging 5.5 yards per carry, with Donovan Shannon next in line with 395 yards and three scores while averaging 6.4 yards per tote.
 
Kameron Lockhart has also come on during his freshman season and added three rushing scores and 231 yards with a backfield-best 7.7 yards per carry.
 
Duncan and Luke Hohenberger have shared the passing duties over the last two outings, with Duncan bringing his season total to 695 yards passing with six touchdowns, while Hohenberger has put up 384 yards over three games played with three touchdowns.
 
Kobe Jennings remains the top receiving threat with 15 catches for 327 yards and three scores while Victor Taylor Jr. has 12 catches for 187 yards and two touchdowns.
 
Jax Sternberger has added a pair of receiving TD's while five others have snagged one receiving score each.
 
The Storm rank second in total defense on the season, allowing 283.6 yards per game overall while ranking second in rushing defense and third in passing defense in the league.
 
William Wallis and Andrew Grissom lead the defense with 44 tackles each, while De'Angelo Shanks is one of the league's top pass rushers with five sacks on the season while Kamron Field is tied atop the conference in total passes defended with seven, including his four interceptions.
 
The Reddie offense runs through Andrew Edwards who is averaging 227.4 yards per game through the air with 14 touchdowns while completing 62.2 percent of his passes.
 
He has four receivers with double-digit catches on the season with Maddox Davis leading the way with 37 catches and 428 yards and two touchdowns while Micah Greene has a team-high four receiving scores.
 
Jeremiah Davis leads the HSU ground game with 386 yards and four touchdowns, while Edwards is right behind with 319 yards and four scores.
 
Gerard Culotta leads the Reddie defense with 63 tackles and 2.5 sacks, while three players have recorded two interceptions.
