ALVA, Okla. – For the second time this season, Southeastern sweeps Northwestern Oklahoma State 3-0 to complete the season sweep over the Rangers.

The Savage Storm attack finished the match with 34 kills on a .211 attack average, led by
Alaina Armstrong with nine kills.
Alexis Williams and
Maci Morrison combined for 15 kills, while Williams led the team with 3.0 total blocks.
Jasmin Dion orchestrated the attack with 24 assists, and
Merrick Hammel would pace the back row with 16 digs.

SET ONE
Southeastern struck early to build a 5-2 advantage and would trade a run of scores with the Rangers, leading 9-6. The Storm held its edge over the next rallies before building a 3-0 burst after back-to-back aces from
Faith Kruebbe to stretch the lead to 17-12. Both attacks continued to build runs, with SE holding a two-point edge, 20-18, and the Storm later used a 5-2 flurry to cap off a 25-20 set win.

SET TWO
The Storm carried the late momentum from the first set into the second, jumping out to a 12-4 lead. From there, the blue and gold turned to Williams, who slammed down three kills for the blue and gold to extend the gap to 18-9. Southeastern controlled the set from there and took advantage of six errors by the Rangers down the stretch to claim the set 25-16.

SET THREE
After fast starts in the first and second sets, Southeastern fell behind 4-0 to the Rangers, but quickly rattled off five points to tie the frame 5-all. Armstrong and Morrison began to take over, as the two combined for five kills during a 6-0 run to help the Storm surge ahead 14-10.

Noelia Rocha had the hot hand next, reeling off three straight kills to grow the Southeastern advantage to 20-14 and later slammed down one more to make it 23-16. The blue and gold capped off the set with a kill by Kruebbe to complete the sweep with a 25-18 set win.

Southeastern (9-17, 4-10 GAC) makes its final road trip of the season on Tuesday, November 11, when it heads to Southwestern Oklahoma State.
