DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern Oklahoma State fell in a back-and-forth match with Northwest Missouri State on Tuesday afternoon 4-3 at the Southeastern Tennis Complex.

The Bearcats held the early advantage during the doubles round, claiming a win at No. 3, but the Savage Storm rattled two straight victories at Courts 1 and 2 to secure the doubles point.
Jose Pinto and
German Vallejo took care of business at No. 1, winning 6-3, while
Benjamin Fracassi and
Djordje Kurcubic captured a win at No. 2, 6-4.

Luke Tinnock extended the blue and gold lead to 2-0 in the match with a win at No. 3 to get singles play underway, but the Bearcats took the next three matches from Courts 5, 2, and 1 to jump ahead 3-2. However, the Storm tied things up 3-all, as
David Palomares turned in a 7-6 and 6-3 win at No. 4. NWMSU would clinch the match in a back-and-forth contest at No. 6 to win the match 4-3.

Southeastern (5-2) remains at home for its next match on Thursday, Mar. 13, as the Storm host Southwest Baptist at noon from the Southeastern Tennis Complex.
