Robert Briley was selected to the All-GAC Honorable Mention team, the league announced Wednesday evening. Additionally,
Jalen Williams made the GAC Academic Honor Roll.
Briley was one of the top rebounders in the conference this season, averaging 7.8 boards per game, which ranked second among the GAC. The Wright City, Okla. native finished the year with 11 double-digit rebound games, including a career-high 17 against Northwestern Oklahoma State in the second meeting. Birley's 218 total rebounds this season pushed him over 500 for his career with 504 in three seasons.
In addition to his presence at the glass, Briley was SE's third highest scorer with 11.5 points per game. The redshirt-junior forward racked up 19 double-figure points games, highlighted by a career-high night in the second game against NWOSU, scoring 22 points. Briley's scoring output and rebounding ability led him to a team-high 11 double-doubles in 2024-25.
Briley ended the season shooting 60.8 percent (127-209) from the field and 26.1 percent (6-23) from beyond the arc, and held a 75.3 percent clip at the free-throw line. The Wright City High School product paced SE in denials with 21 blocks and added a team-high 29 steals to his totals.
