KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NABC has announced the recipients for the 2024-25 NABC Academic Excellence Awards and the NABC Honors Court for the achievement in the classroom for men's basketball teams and individual players.
Southeastern was one of two Great American Conference teams to receive the NABC Academic Excellence Award, and the Savage Storm had four players earn NABC Honors Court in
Brady Brister,
Chandler Dickinson,
Jalen Williams and
Santiago Camacho Gomez.
The Academic Excellence Award recognizes programs that completed the 2024-25 academic year with a combined team GPA of 3.0 or higher. In addition, the Honors Court award is handed out to juniors, seniors and graduate students who finished with a 3.2 or better GPA during 2024-25.
Nearly 400 men's basketball programs earned NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards for the 2024-25 season, while over 2,400 players were recognized for the Honors Court achievements.
