SET ONE
Saint Martin's used an early run of scores to carry a 6-3 advantage, but the Storm soon found their footing on a 4-0 burst that had three kills by Rocha to close the gap to 11-10. However, the Saints broke things open on a 9-1 run to stretch their lead to 20-11. SE replied with a quick flurry of points before Alexis Willims sparked a 4-0 run to close the gap to three, but a SMU timeout allowed the Saints to regroup and find the final point of the frame to win 25-21.
SET TWO
The two sides were back and forth in the first rallies of the set, and SE would be the first team to grab an advantage with three kills by Jones, pushing Southeastern in front 6-4. The frame remained tight with neither side able to find much separation, tied 16-16, but the Saints eventually found the first breakthrough on a 5-1 run to go ahead 21-18.
Morrison kept the Storm on the heels of the SMU with a trio of kills to keep SE within one, and a kill by
Faith Kruebbe tied the set 22-all. Following a timeout by Saint Martin's, the frame was locked at 23-23, though the Saints would string together back-to-back kills to end the set with a 25-23 win.
SET THREE
Southeastern and Saint Martin's were tied 3-3 and later 6-6 before the Saints found a 10-7 lead. The lead would flip in favor of the Storm, 12-11, with a 4-0 burst that was started and ended with a kill by Morrison, who kept the blue and gold ahead with another kill later, 14-13. The Saints began to heat up and rattled off seven straight points to jump in front 20-14 and remained in control until match point to secure the final frame 25-18.
