SET ONE
The Tigers struck first and carried their lead to 11-7, but a run of scores from the Storm, including two kills from Rocha, gave the blue and gold their first edge of the set, 13-12. The two sides remained close, with the score tied five different times over the next rallies, as SE and ECU were locked at 22-22 after a kill by Morrison. However, the Tigers went on to rattle off three straight points to close out the set, 25-22.

SET TWO
Southeastern opened the scoring with a 3-2 advantage and would trade scores with the Tigers tied at 8-8. The frame was back and forth until a 4-0 run from East Central pushed them ahead, and the lead would soon grow to 20-15. The Storm continued to battle and cut the gap to two, with a pair of kills from Williams and Newman, as they trailed 21-19. Similar to the opening frame, ECU found a late push, outscoring the Storm 4-1 in the final exchanges to take the second frame 25-20.

SET THREE
After a fast start by the Storm, which saw the jump to a 4-0 lead, the Tigers roared back to grab a 7-4 edge. Southeastern was quick to match ECU with a 6-0 run that was started by a kill from Jones and capped off by an ace from the freshman to give the blue and gold the lead again, 13-10. East Central had an answer to the Storm's flurry with a 7-1 run to flip the edge back in its favor by three. Southeastern closed the gap to tie the frame 17-all, but the Tigers strung together an 8-2 burst to win the final set 25-19.
