SE Returns Home for Battle of the Storms Saturday

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern returns home for the first of back-to-back home games as it welcomes Southern Nazarene to Paul Laird Field at Spend Life Wisely Stadium for the first 2 p.m. kickoff of the season on Saturday, Sept. 26.
 
Southeastern fans can listen live via the Southeastern Sports Network on GoSoutheastern.com/SESportsNet or across the largest DII radio network in the area with Jay Lindly and Rob Johnson on the call. Local fans can pick up the game on 96.1 FM, while fans across southeastern Oklahoma and north Texas can pick up the games on 94.7 FM in Valliant, Okla., 97.7 in Ardmore, Okla., 99.5 in Rattan, Okla., 102.1 in Atoka, Okla., and 107.5 in Atoka.
 
Fans can watch the contest via the all-new GAC Sports Network which provides fans with comprehensive live and on-demand broadcast coverage from seven participating member institutions and selected GAC post-season championship events.
 
Participating institutions for the upcoming academic year include Arkansas Tech, Arkansas–Monticello, East Central, Oklahoma Baptist, Southeastern Oklahoma State, Southern Arkansas, and Southern Nazarene. By implementing this collective subscription model, the GAC joins fourteen other NCAA Division II conferences that utilize similar networks to enhance broadcast quality and provide resources for campus operations.
 
The GAC Sports Network offers flexible subscription tiers in 2026-27:
* 2026-27 Season Pass ($150): The ultimate package for dedicated fans. Provides access to all participating regular season broadcasts, plus all GAC postseason and conference championship events. This is Valid through June 30, 2027.
* Monthly Pass ($25/month): An auto-renewing subscription providing access to all participating regular season broadcasts across all sports. (Note: Does not include postseason or championship events).
* Football Day Pass ($15): Single-Saturday access to all participating regular season football broadcasts available on that specific day.
 
The Savage Storm come home with a 2-1 record after swiping a 27-21 win over Southwestern Oklahoma State on the road in which SE jumped to a two-score lead early but needed a fourth-quarter game-winning drive to secure the victory.
 
SE drove 80 yards on eight plays and scored with nine seconds to play on a Levay Duncan to Colby Ray Short TD pass to pick up the win.
 
Duncan threw for 166 and a score in the contest and has tossed for 439 yards over three games with a pair of passing TDs.
 
Jax Sternberger continues to pace the receiving corps with 13 catches while adding 150 yards, with Sean Steens putting up a team-best 154 yards on 10 grabs with a touchdown.  Trevin Hohenberger and Short each have a receiving score as well.
 
Duncan leads the team on the ground with 134 rushing yards and three touchdowns, while Kameron Lockhart is next in line with 114, including a team-best 67 yards last game out.
 
Defensively, Prince Dweh leads the team with 19 tackles, while William Wallis is next up with 18, including three sacks.
 
Dylan Sebock has racked up 17 tackles with five tackles for loss and two sacks, while Tony Hamilton has snagged a pair of interceptions and Kole McKnight leads the league with six pass breakups.
 
SNU does most of its offensive work on the ground, led by Maddox Olatunde who has 241 yards and four touchdowns on 40 carries, as the Crimson Storm are averaging 292.0 yards per game as a team.
 
Jaxon Worley leads the team's passing attack with 148 yards and a touchdown over three games, with Karomo Collins as the top target with four catches for 68 yards.
 
The defense is led by Wyatt Brown who is putting up 33 tackles, while Tyler Ulrich has 30 stops on the year.
