Box Score DURANT, Okla. – 
Evan Ramsey drove in four runs, including a pinch-hit three run homer in the sixth inning to help Southeastern to a 5-4 win over Henderson State on Friday afternoon at The Ballpark in Durant.
 
The win gets the Savage Storm off to a 1-0 start in Great American Conference play and lifts them to 3-2 overall on the season.
 
HSU slips to 4-1 overall and 0-1 in GAC play.
 
The teams will finish their three-game series on Saturday with a double-header slated for a noon start.
 
SE found itself down midway through the sixth inning after the Reddies' eight-hole hitter posted a pair of solo homers in the third and the top of the sixth innings.
 
Then with two outs and two runners on Ramsey stepped in to pinch-hit, putting a ball over the left-field wall to erase the deficit and turn it into a 3-2 lead.
 
Ramsey would add another RBI in the bottom of the eighth inning with a single to left center that plated 
Ryan Salter and put SE up 4-2.
 
HSU, however, would answer in the top of the ninth with a pair of runs off a double by Dustin Hudson.
 
The Storm would open the bottom of the ninth inning with back-to-back groundouts before 
Josh Smith drew a walk.
 
That was followed by a 
Chevis Springer walk, with 
Robby Nunez then stepping in to run for Smith at second base.
 
A third-straight walk by Salter would load the bases for 
Tucker Alexander who would roll a ball to shortstop who would then throw to first off the mark, allowing Nunez to score on the error for the walkoff win.
 
Ramsey finished the day 2-for-2 after entering in the sixth inning with four RBI, while Springer turned in a two-hit outing at 2-for-3 with two walks and a run scored.
 
Salter and 
Troy McCartney each added a hit, with Salter turning in a run and a pair of stolen bases.
