DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern athletics closes out the 2025-26 competitive season by honoring a foursome of athletes who made lasting marks on their respective programs, with
Carley Button and
Tori Kilburn earning Co-Female Athlete of the Year honors while
Carter Olson and
Blake Carter were named Co-Male Athlete of the Year.

Button, a junior from Denton, Texas, wrapped the 2025-26 women's golf season by posting four top-five finishes, 10 top-20 efforts, and became the first Southeastern women's golfer to qualify for the NCAA DII National Finals.

She was an honorable mention All-Great American Conference selection who averaged a 76.96 round for the season and closed out the year with a fifth-place outing at the GAC Championship, only to follow it with a second-place finish at the Central/Midwest Region, earning her position in the National Finials. Once there she kept up her remarkable run with an eighth-place finish to earn All-American honors.

Kilburn, a freshman from McAlester, Okla., made her presence felt right out of the gate as she earned GAC Freshman of the Year honors as well as first team All-GAC recognition before going on to earn an All-Central Region selection.

She was tied for second in the league in scoring with 19.9 ppg, while ranking fifth in rebounding with 8.1 rebounds per outing. Kilburn finished the year as the most efficient shooter in the conference at 54.9 percent and she posted just the sixth 600-point scoring season in program history.

Carter, a senior from Seminole, Okla., earned his second-straight trip to the College National Finals Rodeo, winning the all-around and the tie down roping in the Central Plains region and helping the Savage Storm men's team to a regional championship.

He advanced to the CNFR in both the tie down roping and the team roping. He picked up the regional championship in the tie down by 360 points over second place and would ultimately finish 11
th at the CNFR.

Olson, a senior from Mansfield, Texas, closed out his career with a memorable senior season that saw him pick up All-American honors in addition to First Team All-Central Region and First Team All-GAC recognition.

He finished 10
th in the league with a .373 batting average, but led the league with 23 home runs, ranked second in both slugging percentage (.805), OPS (1.307), and RBI (69). He also ranked in the top 10 in the league in hits, runs scored, walks, and hit by pitch. His 23 home runs would end the year ranked fifth nationally.
