DURANT, Okla. – A trio of Southeastern baseball players added All-Central Region honors to their resume's, with
Carter Olson and
JJ Bush picking up first team honors from the National Collegiate Baseball Writer's Association, while that duo plus
Ryan Kirk earned second team honors from the D2CCA.

Olson and Bush will be up for All-American honors from the NCBWA which will be selected at a later date.

Bush earned first team All-GAC honors and Great American Conference Newcomer of the Year Award and was joined on the first team by
Ryan Kirk and
Carter Olson.

Olson, a senior first baseman from Mansfield, Texas, closed the season with a .373 average and is fourth nationally in home runs with 23 while leading the team in RBI with 69 along with 11 doubles and a .982 fielding percentage.

Bush, a senior outfielder from Corpus Christi, Texas, finished the season with a .363 average while ranking 10
th in the nation in home runs with 21. He added 58 RBI and 64 runs scored while chipping in 15 doubles and stealing 12 bases.

Kirk, a senior second baseman from Yorba Linda, Calif., picked up second team honors from both organizations and finished the season with a .318 average that included 13 doubles, 16 home runs and 57 RBI to go with 53 runs scored and 10 stolen bases.
