Olson, Bush Earn All-American Honors

DURANT, Okla. – Carter Olson and JJ Bush continued to add to their postseason honors as each added Honorable Mention NCBWA All-American to their list of laurels.
 
Olson, a senior first baseman from Mansfield, Texas, picked up all-region honors from NCBWA and D2CCA and was a first team all-GAC pick as he closed the season with a .373 average and is fourth nationally in home runs with 23 while leading the team in RBI with 69 along with 11 doubles and a .982 fielding percentage.
 
Bush, a senior outfielder from Corpus Christi, Texas, earned first team All-GAC honors and Great American Conference Newcomer of the Year Award in addition to a pair of All-Region honors, He finished the season with a .363 average while ranking 10^th in the nation in home runs with 21.  He added 58 RBI and 64 runs scored while chipping in 15 doubles and stealing 12 bases.
