Strawn would reach on a fielder's choice with Cook out at home, and steal second before Beal singled up the middle to bring home both runners and take a 3-0 lead.

A pair of walks sandwiched a pair of outs to open the bottom of the second inning, and a Cook single would make them pay by driving in Jones.

A Riddle walk would load the bases for Strawn who doubled home Cook and Kramer for a 6-0 lead.

TAMUK would pick up a pair of runs in the top of the seventh inning.  After Milam loaded the bases, Bennett would come on and retire the next three batters, trading runs for outs on the first two to set the 6-2 final score.
