The Savage Storm moves to 6-5 overall on the season and 1-1 in Great American Conference play.

The two teams will play the final two games of the series on Sunday afternoon beginning at 1 p.m.

In game one, the Storm found itself trailing early after the Tigers used an RBI double to take a 1-0 lead.

That lead held till the top of the third when Southeastern responded, first by taking the lead on a two-run single by Strawn that scored Kramer and Cook, and then doubling that lead on a Laramie Beal home run one batter later to push the score to 4-1.

OBU responded with a run off a double in the bottom of the sixth to cut the SE lead to 4-2 which would prove to be the final.

In game two the teams combined to post 17 straight zeros on the scoreboard before the Tigers scratched in a run in the bottom of the ninth to hand the Storm a 1-0 loss.

Simmons, Beal and Arianna Jones each collected a hit in the contest.

In the circle, Shayna Milam got the start and allowed three hits with no runs over 3.0 innings of work before Bennett took over and tossed the next 4.0 innings, allowing no runs on five hits with four strikeouts.

It was the final pitcher, Mindy McElroy who would be tagged with the loss after tossing 1.2 innings and allowing just the one run on two hits.
