SE Welcomes Eagles For Tuesday Twinbill

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will set out to wrap up its seven-game home stand with a pair of wins on Tuesday afternoon when it hosts Oklahoma Christian for a double-header slated for a noon first pitch.
 
The Savage Storm are 4-1 thus far in the home stand, including a weekend sweep of Great American conference foe Ouachita Baptist.
 
SE is 7-5 overall on the season and 4-2 in conference play.
 
The strength for the Storm in the early going has been its pitching which leads the GAC with a 2.73 team ERA.
 
The staff features five players who have thrown 10-or-more innings that have ERA's under 3.00, led by Mason Crenshaw who is 2-0 with three saves in six appearances and 12.0 innings pitched with a 0.00 ERA.
 
Nick Johnson carries a 0.82 ERA, but is 1-2 on the year in six appearances with one start, while the reigning GAC Pitcher of the Week Canyon Conley boasts a 1.93 ERA in three starts that span 18.2 innings.
 
At the dish, Chance Burcham leads the way with a .351 average that includes a double and a home run.
 
Burcham, Chevis Springer, Collin Sefcik and Evan Ramsey each have five RBI on the season, while Ryan Slater, Trevor Bowen and Cody Coats are right behind with five each.
 
Springer and Ramsey each also have homers.
 
Springer also has seven steals which is second in the league, while the team's 24 stolen bases is good for second in the GAC.
 
OC comes to town with a 4-3 record on the season, but is coming off a 2-1 series loss at St. Edward's.
 
The Eagles are led by Caleb Price who is hitting .462 on the year with four RBI, while Jordan Lopez has three doubles, a home run and eight RBI.
 
Blake Stinger leads the team in RBI with nine and also has one homer along with two triples.
 
OC's pitching staff carries a staff ERA of 6.16, but is led by Garrett Guys who has yet to give up a run in three relief appearances, while Eddie Broll, Garrett Sumpter, Brandon Pierce and Kelby Reneau each have a win.
