Box Score 2 DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern put up 19 runs over two games and completed its seven-game home stand with a double-header sweep of Oklahoma Christian on Tuesday afternoon, taking game one 6-5 before running away with game two 13-1.

The wins lift the Savage Storm to 9-5 overall on the season as the team next heads into a three-game road series at Harding on Feb. 28 and March 1 in Searcy, Ark.

The wins give SE a 6-1 record in its seven game home stand as the team has won five in-a-row.
Â
Ryan Salter and
Trevor Bowen led the way in game one, posting two hits each as well as a pair of RBI each.

Cade Clay,
Jacob Carter,
Jacob Soisson and
Josh Smith each added a hit, with Smith's being his first home run of the year, while Soisson also added an RBI.
Â
Salter also upped his steal totals with a pair of stolen bases.

On the hill,
Nick Johnson got the start and tossed six innings, allowing four runs, three earned, on six hits with a pair of strikeouts to move to 2-2 on the season.

Mason Crenshaw came on in relief and picked up his fourth save of the year, but was touched for his first run while allowing a pair of hits and striking out one.

A Salter RBI single put the Storm on the board in the bottom of the second when
Evan Ramsey scored on the play, and one batter later the lead moved to 3-0 on a two-run single by Bowen that plated Salter and Carter.

The Eagles closed the gap in the third inning by picking up a pair of runs on a sac fly and a double.

The Storm answered in the bottom half with a Soisson triple that plated Carter which was directly followed by a Salter bunt single that scored Soisson and staked the team to a 5-2 lead.

Smith opened the fourth inning with a home run to push the lead to 6-2.

OC answered with a run in the fifth on an error, and the team picked up a pair of two-out RBI in the top of the seventh to close the score to 6-5 which would hold to be the final.

In the finale, Springer turned in a 3-for-3 effort, while Soisson was 2-for-4 and Ramsey,
Collin Sefcik and Carter each added a hit.

Sefcik and Carter each drove in four runs, while Soisson picked up two and Springer drove in one.

Springer and
Chance Burcham each scored three runs, while Sefcik scored twice.
Â
Five different SE players each stole a base.

Jaime Paxton got the start and the win to move to 1-0 on the year after tossing five innings and allowing a run on one hit with six strikeouts.

Mathew Benedict came on in relief and tossed two innings and allowed just one hit.

The Eagles struck first in game two on an AJ Florence home run to lead off the game.

However, SE answered in the bottom half of the inning, first tying the score when Springer scored on a wild pitch.

A Carter groundout would then plate Burcham which was followed by a Soisson single that scored Ramsey for a 3-1 lead which would stretch to 4-1 when Soisson scored on a throwing error by the OC catcher on a Salter steal.

Later in the fourth inning Sefcik drew a bases-loaded walk while pinch hitting for Ramsey, which was immediately followed by a three-run triple by Carter that plated Sefcik, Burcham and
Cade Clay to mount an 8-1 lead.

SE then took advantage of back-to-back walks to open the fifth inning, first scoring on a Springer RBI single, and two batter later getting a bases-loaded triple from Sefcik to push the lead to 12-1.

Two batters later the Storm would tack on its final run when Soisson singled home Sefcik to set the final of 13-1.
