DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern baseball will put its five-game winning streak on the line when it hits the road for the first time in two weeks to take on conference foe Harding in a three game series Feb. 28 and March 1 in Searcy, Ark.

Friday's single game is set for a 2 p.m. first pitch, while Saturday's double-header starts at noon.

The Savage Storm come into the contest at 9-5 on the season and enjoying a five-game winning streak that started with a three-game sweep of Great American Conference foe Ouachita Baptist and continued into a midweek sweep of Oklahoma Christian. SE is 4-2 in GAC play.

Jacob Carter who is hitting .409 on the season with two doubles, a triple and five RBI.

Chance Burcham and
Chevis Springer are hitting .300-or-better at .317 and .300, respectively.

Ryan Salter lead the team in stolen bases with eight each, while the Storm is tied atop the league with 31 steals as a team.

Trevor Bowen each have seven.

The strength of the team in the early going has been its pitching staff which leads the GAC with a 2.79 staff ERA.

Canyon Conley leads the starters with a 1-1 record in three starts and a 1.93 ERA, including a two-hit shutout versus OBU which earned him GAC Pitcher of the Week honors.

Mason Crenshaw lead the team in appearances at seven each, with Crenshaw posting a 0.69 ERA and four saves.

The Bisons come into the series at 9-5 overall and 2-1 in GAC play, and are coming off a midweek split against Henderson State in a non-conference matchup.

Matt Calhoun paces the club with a .357 average, while James Anderson is right behind at .347.

Calhoun also leads the team with three home runs and 14 RBI.
