Â
TAMIU took advantage of an SE error in the fifth inning to pick up a pair of runs, but the Storm added two more insurance runs in the top of the seventh inning, the first on a Riddle RBI single and the second thanks to an error which allowed

Lacie Cook bunt would allow Simmons to score to cut the deficit to 3-2.
Â
The Hilltoppers, however, would add another run in the sixth to take a 4-2 edge.
Â
Simmons and Kramer would put together back-to-back one-out singles in the top of the seventh, but SE was unable to get the rally going and bring them in.
